In The Beginning
Al's Awning has been Erie's premium awning manufacturer for over 80 years! We have specialized in custom designs, manufacturing, and installation of your vision. In October of 1945, Albert J. Quadri's vision came to life. Founding Al's Awning Shop in his garage. In 1974 His son David Quadri took ownership, until he passed in March of 1989, Leaving Ownership to Cynthia Quadri. In November of 2011 Michele Quadri Butterfield took over. Guiding Al's to being the largest awning shop in Erie, PA.
Driven To Expand
Under Michele’s leadership, Al’s has entered a new era of growth and innovation. What began as a trusted, service-focused operation has evolved into a modern manufacturing partner serving a rapidly expanding customer base. In just a short time, we have doubled our customer base, expanded into industrial sewing, and strategically invested in advanced automation. While maintaining the quality, reliability, and personal service our customers expect.

As we prepare to enter our fourth generation, we remain proud of the foundation built before us and energized for what’s ahead. Rooted in decades of hands-on experience and craftsmanship, we are focused on growing our reach beyond our local roots and expanding nationally.
